Your first lesson

Start with a useful baseline

The first session starts with your goals, handicap, and baseline numbers including speed, face, path, and impact point. From there, Mitchell explains the diagnosis, makes sure it fits what you want from your game, and maps out the next steps.

Afterward, you'll receive a recap email covering what you worked on, what the session showed, and where to go next.

Club fitting process

Measure first. Buy only if it makes sense.

A fitting begins by benchmarking your current clubs on TrackMan and clarifying whether you are fitting a driver, irons, a full bag, or closing a specific yardage gap. You can hit from grass outdoors or use the covered indoor setup that faces the outdoor range.

You'll test different head, shaft, and lie-angle combinations, then compare the ball flight to your baseline. There is no commission and no commitment to buy; you receive a quote afterward and decide whether to proceed.

Questions

Before you book

Where do lessons and fittings take place?

All sessions take place at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin. The calendar shows current availability; lessons are generally available every day except Monday.

Should I book a 30-minute or one-hour lesson?

A 30-minute lesson is best for a focused skill or one part of an existing plan. If we have not worked together before, start with an hour so there is time to establish a baseline, diagnose the priority, and build a clear plan forward.

Do I need to buy clubs after a fitting?

No. A fitting does not come with a commitment to buy. After the session, Mitchell sends a quote and you decide whether to move forward.

Do you earn commission on club sales?

No. The fitting fee is separate from any equipment purchase, so the recommendation is based on what helps you play better golf—not on selling a club.

Ready to work on your game?

Book directly through the calendar, or text Mitchell if you want help choosing the right session.
